I have already had to replace my first one. recently my PS3 has been getting hot, tonight my PS3 froze I think because it was too hot. What can I do fix this problem so I don't have to replace another one? I have no idea how to properly take apart and put back together a PS3, I think it has something to do with the sealant that helps keep the system from overheating.

I was hoping that GTA V will be the last game I buy, But I don't want my PS3 broken by the time GTA V comes out in March of next year. It costs about one hundred dollars to get a PS3 replaced or repaired, And right now i cannot afford it. Any Info would be appreciated.

or:I'd recommend buying a can of compressed air to clean out the vents of any dust build up if you haven't tried that yet. If you have tried that try buying an external fan attachment.I've had the same problem, but unfortunately my last one broke, my newer one has had similar problem and all I had to do is use compressed air to clean it every so often.
