Or you can take it apart adjust it . But what I do is oil it with grease lubrication from stray can. It like wd40 but better. Open and close it a lot and that should help make it easier to open. Usually buck knifes have lifetime warranty so if want to keep the warranty do not take it apart. . Hope that was the type of answer to the question you were asking. Wasn't sure what you were asking.
