I really want to see the southern lights and I am absolutely desperate to see them ASAP. I have been studying the aurora for months. they are green lights (sometimes red) that appear in the sky at night and they are absolutely amazing. they come from solar flares (wind from the sun). The scientific name is aurora australis. Up north it is called the northern lights (aurora borealis). I need as much detail as possible. please help me!
