I need help with bullying?

Currently theres a kid in my math class period 4. Lets call him by his nickname Jose. So about 1 week ago Jose started picking on me. First it started with not passing my paper to me and looking at the ceiling when im around. The bad thing is somehow this gets to me. Then it got more personal he started insulting my family. Now im 5,1 this guy is like i wanna say 4,12. What makes me mad is that I could beat him up, hes small yet hes the one picking on me. Then it got to the last straw him and his friend Ethan were walking to class. They saw me walking and ethan yelled TWIG so i looked at Jose who is skinnier than me and said Look at you! they both said the same back. After that I told the teacher, she moved me to a different group, and got Ethan in trouble. Still Jose bugs me though whether its swatting my paper or calling me ugly its harrassment/bullying. Please leave your advice in the comments

or:Sorry, but I chuckle at the thought he may like you.How about asking him what he wants exactly, in a courteous manner?Have been rather skeptical of forbearance at this age with its inclination towards testing the limits; friction tends to escalate hostility; so if the issue is treatable at this rather mild stage, might be worth a shot.
