my essay is a personal essay, which we were told to talk about a moment that we could reflect back on. Mines was about my grandmother passing away, and how my parents lied about it and hid the truth from me. In my second paragraph I wrote:
My Gran was basically my best friend. I wouldn't be able to count how many times she took me into Glasgow, bought me food, books, anything that I wanted. Most of these memories are now just a blur of my childhood. Sometimes wish these memories were clearer so I could remember her more easily, but sometimes I also think it is probably for the best, as if they were clearer I would probably miss her more.
Next to "blur" she has written, "Could you describe the blur in a more sensory way?" I asked her about it, but I honestly can't remember what she said. Any idea what this could mean?
