I need something set straight regarding Google Play Premium, Napster Premium?

So from what I understand, If I subscribe to Google Play Premium or Napster Premium. I get unlimited downloads for music as long as I pay the monthly fee.

What are the nature of these downloads? Can I play these songs in another media player, such as windows media player or audacity? Or do I have to play them on the respective Google Play or Napster apps?

I'm a DJ so 10$ a month sounds great for music. However I need to access these songs from my DJ software (traktor pro 2) which would mean i would need the mp3. Is that included in these packages?
