I paid £100 to reserve a car for viewing, I no longer want it, what happens if I block the payment?

So they said I have to view the car to get the 100 back but my circumstances have changed and it's quite a drive to get there, they're very rude over the phone, nothing was signed or provided to read with regards to the 100 deposit.

They told me it was refundable providing I view the car and don't like it.

If I block the 100 payment through my bank, will this be a huge issue?

or:You should have paid a mechanic to inspect the car, since you probably don't know what to view. A verbal contract is not worth the paper it's written on.
