I know i was stupid and feel like killing myself at the thought of going to prison

or:If you already confessed then you should plead guilty. How you please guilty will determine the jury's decision. I think you may get some community service time at the most. Stealing isn't that big of an offense which would send you to prison; unless in large amounts.
