I talk to this youth worker and she has been telling my mom about what I say. What should I do?

I met this youth worker during the summer at a program I was doing, I talked to her about issues I had and when school started I would ask her for rides to school and she would ask me questions about what’s going on in my life, I told her something that my mom later mentioned that I had told her. I was under the impression that she was not supposed to tell others about what I told her (a different youth worker had told me that) and now I learned that she called my mom and told her something, I’m not sure what she said, it seems like what’s happening is that they have some sort of agreement that the youth worker will tell my mom whatever I tell her, so what should I do? I’m too shy and embarrassed about what the youth worker might’ve told my mom to confront my mom. And I’m also to shy to ask the youth worker if she’s been telling my mom things (which I know she has been)

or:I have no idea what a \"youth worker\" is. I don't know what their training is or what kind of certification they have. I know that actual psychologists and psychiatrists have ethics and laws and they cannot tell anyone else what you say unless you sign a release or unless you are threatening to harm yourself or someone else.The youth worker must have a supervisor or employer and that's where you go to file a complaint and say trust is broken and you aren't telling that worker another thing and you want one with ethics.Good luck!
