I recently just downloaded a file that had a virus in it, it downloaded multiple programs and pop ups. I restarted my laptop into safe mode and ran a custom malwarebytes scan on all my hard hardrives twice. The first time it had a ton, 112. The second time it came out clean, I finished it off deleting and uninstalling all programs that I think were downloaded. And I'm only 90% sure that it's fully clean. Sometimes I hear clicking noises often and i'm wondering why, and if my laptop is still infected.

or:You should get a free antivirus and malware app avast is free microsoft essentials is also free but it would make sure that both are gone. Even checks for spyware also it would be a good idea to run a virus app.
