I think I lost my contact in my eye?

So in school my contact was feeling irritated but I didnt think it was anything. But now I cant see out of my left eye and I have spent at least 3 hou

So in school my contact was feeling irritated but I didn't think it was anything. But now I can't see out of my left eye and I have spent at least 3 hours trying to get it out. Finally I tried putting in another contact like a website said to and it went in fine so I left that contact in for a bit and it was normal. Then I took it out and I had a feeling that something is under my eye lid. Is it a contact? an Eyelash? my imagination?

or:It could be your contact your contact defiantly is still there but it could be on one of the sides or on top or the bottom of your eye
