I think the girl I like now hates me......answers pls?

People were teasing her about me liking her,apparently she didnt like it ,she went up to me and scolded me not to tell anyone I liked her,I was hesita

People were teasing her about me liking her,apparently she didn't like it ,she went up to me and scolded me not to tell anyone I liked her,I was hesitant and didn't know what to do,I only said I didn't like her.Now after the incident,I guess you can say we both are ignoring each other none of us said a word for about a week now ,I'm getting frustrated over it .Back then we were good friends ,until I started hinting that I like her.Things were awkward,we don't talk much anymore like we used too.Though recently,I feel like she was hinting on me that she liked me,like she was staring at me,catching glances,and always made eye contact when we talk,once she loved sitting next to me in class.And one time during English class,she smiled and giggle when I asked her of I could be her partner in a project.I even stood up for her,when she was about to get.scolded for a.misunderstanding by the school principal.Everytime I walked pass her,she would always look at me,I just looked baco and went on my way,well apparently my efforts were worthless.......now she don't talk and I think she is ignoring me,when talking to me,she has a somewhat frustrated face on.Any ideas on this?

or:Well, I'm a girl and I know what girls like. Just keep on doing what your doing. Girls love it when you stand up for them and they also love presents. Of course you don't want to make it to big a deal, but if you really like her, and she's starting to like you... that could lead to dating - big time and fast.
