I told her that when she sings I was never pulled into her world. I never felt like she was singing to me. I told her this doesn't mean that she doesn't sing good enough. But to her it means that her singing isn't good enough. I am in a band. I lettered in chorus. My opinion means a lot to her. But I did not mean this in a bad way. HOW CAN I PROVE THAT THIS IS NOT A BAD THING? IS IT A BAD THING?

or:Just tell her that you didn't mean it in a bad way and that you like a different style of music than she does. Tell her that she is a good singer but you like different songs than she does.
