I told this girl in my uni that I liked her and now she wont talk to me?

She did say she liked how i told her though. But now a week later after i told her that she randomly stopped talking to me and only speaks to the other flatmates.. I even try talk to her like normal and she gives short answers, and she never laughs at my jokes anymore.. only with others.. What is her problem?
