My mom agreed on buying me a fish for my birthday but I don't know which one to buy I don't want a betta fish a want a fish that is easy to care for, friendly with other fish and that is active but my mom can't spend a lot of money on the tank and the set up like the heater and filter so are there any fish Yahtzee don't need those things thanks

or:How big is your tank? If it is 10 gallons you can probably puts a school of pretty tetras in there. Small and cheap ones are neon tetras, and fancy ones are skirt fined tetras and serpae tetras. I would keep a school of 4-5 at least for tetras. Hope I helped!
