They use guns to pierce ears and its totally unsanitary and unsafe (I work at a professional piercing shop) my sister got her ears pierced there, and they messed up, the gun jammed on one of the ears, and so she had to wait a while to go back and get it done and now her earrings are crooked. Go to a professional piercing place, because we know what were doing. I dont know how Claire's does their cartilage piercings and I dont want to. At an actual piercing shop, we use needles that are only used once, then thrown out, which are way more safe and sanitary and will give you better results and less infections. Claire's earrings are junk because they wrecked my sisters ears and gave her horrible infections. At my shop we use actual jewelry, so you know your are paying $40 for quality earrings, not $20 for poorly made pieces of metal that fall apart within the first few hours.Second of all, know that im not trying to scare you. I didnt mean for any of that to scare you about getting it done. Im just informing you that if you do it the proper way then it will be way more enjoyable to have! Im saying all of this for your safety, because I care that people came to get it done properly. Im sorry if I made you nervous about it in any way, and I hope you can get it done and enjoy it.Third, if you dont have any professional places near you, go to Claire's. But, if you go there, you need to be really consistent with cleaning it!
