I am not finding any answers on Google. I don't have time for a 3 hour drive. I need someone who lives near the Gulf shore due east from San Antonio to tell me where I can access the shore. I just want to sit in sand and watch waves. Maybe put my feet in. Please help!

or:Your best bet is to head south to Corpus Christi and then Mustang Island State Park. It's just over 140 miles. There's no real way of making that distance shorter. The drive is what it is. If you had a high speed rail network, you could probably get there in 50 minutes but without that your only option of making the travelling time shorter is flying.
