or:The North east India consists of eight states Assam,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram,Tripura,Arunachal Pradesh,Meghalaya,Sikkim.Excluding some parts of Assam, most of the states are hilly ,picturesque & the people of this region are known simple-minded,innocent.There are many beautiful places that have charming natural scenery.The scenery of Shillong(capital of Meghalaya),Kohima(capital of Nagaland),Guwahati(capital of Assam) are the major cities & too are naturally bewitching.There is famous river-insland in Assam, known as MAJULI.It's in the river Brahmaputra.The temple town Sivsagar in the Sivsagar distrct is a historical place where there're some temples built by the Ahom kings who reigned in Assam from 1228 to 1828 .After 1828, Assam was reigned by the British till India got independence in 1947.I really regret for not being able to provide you with the information of any travel agent.But,your visit to this place will enable you to know the diverse cultures of various people.Thank you.
