A while ago I tried donating some plasma. Just yesterday I learned how dangerous it can really be. In my town, we've had problems with HIV and a lot of it was blamed on a local downtown Biomat clinic. Getting paid to donate plasma, I figured why not, it's free cash. But there's always something behind that free cash.
You will learn that when they get the plasma they need they just pour it all into buckets. They do not even keep them in individual containers. Which is gross. In short, it's really dangerous and I've heard of people complaining about how they got HIV from donating plasma or plasma donations.
