I have been homeschooled all of my life but this fall, I am starting high school and going to public school. And I am so scared!! I know absolutely no one and...well, I need advice:
-What is public high school like?
-I wear long skirts all of the time and want to know what people will most likely think of that. And if I should keep wearing them.
-What are the top things to know for high school?
And any other tips!!

or:Pubic High School is okay, but there are bully's and people who spread many rumours about people they find are different from them to answer you're question about what it is like.To answer you're question about the way you dress, it is very likely long skirts would seem \"weird\" or \"dorky\" to them but never change the way you dress just because they bully you about it, just keep it going smooth.And last but not least, to answer you're question for the top things to know for high school, - You have to know a lot of stuff because they'll have some pretty hard stuff in high school and it is hard to figure out if you don't know much about them - Always be yourself because lots of kids will try to bully you to change the way you act or dress, don't let that happen. - Don't be tardy meaning be late for classes, because they have serious consequences for that in high school.Those are the three top things to know for high school, now here's some tips:1. Since you were home schooled you are not used to public schools so just keep it cool and don't be a nervous wreck because it will make you mess up a lot so just try to adjust the best you can and make some nice new friends.2. Before you start High School, study on something that you would like to focus one when you get there, like say you like a particular thing in history so then before school, start studying on that thing before school starts so you will know more about it when you get to school and you do really well in it and then it is best to study a little on each subject you're taking in high school then you will know an equal amount in everything.Hope this helped:) Lovepink123
or:I know u posted this a while back... But there are those ppl who are bullies no matter what you do. And if they bully you for what you wear or they bully you at all they are immature, and hey think of it this way there takeing 5 minutes out of there pathetic life to think of you, lol. And most bullies back off if you stand up to them, so dont be scared to do that. And if the ppl at your school dont like you for who you are it doesnt matter. Dont be something your not, be a real person.
or:Several things here. If you have to do the bleep test that's not a good thing.A class detention means the teacher dislikes all of you wearing long skirts means no one thinks your desperate for a boyfriendAnd finally before doing something stupid make shore the teacher is not in the room.
or:in high school people like to pick on the new kids so keep an eye on everyones attitude and the ones with the nasty attitude stay as far away as possible. if you wear what ever you want dont let a kid change the way you like to dress and be yourself that way if someone likes you it is for who you are.
