Can anyone give me some more information about the Dyson Sphere? I'm curious as to what it's supposed to do and look like. My understanding is that it's a device that would capture all of the energy produced by a star. So does that mean it would surround the star entirely (look a little like a Star Wars Death Star), or what? Also how much energy could this theoretically produce. I mean we can get energy all the way here, on Earth, so how much would this produce. A bit more than a few Kws I would guess.
