I'm a female, 18 years old, and I am scared to death of relationships with men. I've had a boyfriend before, and it didn't feel right. It felt like I was pretending to be in a relationship if that makes sense. I broke up with him because it didn't feel right to me and he was thinking our relationship was serious.The thought of having sex (i'm a virgin), kissing, or even going out with a guy repulses me. It's like the last thing I want to do. I'd rather jump into a shark tank. As far as I know I'm NOT a lesbian (not that there is anything wrong with that). I'm not unconfident with myself, in fact i'm almost too confident. I don't think I'm hideous and I don't way 300000000lbs. I don't know whats going on with me, but if you had an idea of why I might be feeling this way.....let me know. Thanks!

or:There are a couple possibilities, #1 you may have had a man or men in your life who were controlling, or mean to your mother and/or you growing up and you are uncomfortable giving a man power over you now. if this is the case you may need to talk with someone about it. #2 You just haven't met the right person, and it sounds like you may not be ready to. or:Why should one be scared of having a relationship? Relationships are very beautiful provided we do not become slaves to that relationship. Let us not crave and be a slave. Let us enjoy relationships from Soul to Soul. Let us realize that no relationship will last forever. Let us realize that man is a social being, man has to have relationships. When we live in this world, we have to have relationships - if not with people or with animals and plants and birds, we have to have a relationship with God. We have to be related because though we all appear to be different, in reality we are a part of the one Divine. When we realize we are the Divine Soul, and we realize that everybody in this world, everything in this world is nothing but the Soul, then we have achieved our ultimate goal. Then we will not be scared to have a relationship. We will enjoy every relationship as something Divine
