when working for a family, you tried everything you can to do best for them, however, when its doesn't work or make one mistake, they tend to push comments on to you every time to see you are worthless, stupid and can't do anything right. My friends says it verbal abuse but I'm not so sure if it is.

or:if you family is constently or repetaly saying things like this then yes. if it has only happen a few times than no.
