We work together, and we've both shared with each other how we feel. And we've hung out before and it went fantastic, and he acted around me as if he would a girlfriend. But when we ran into someone he knows, they asked if I was his girlfriend and he straight up immediately said no. How long does it usually take a guy to ask a girl to be his girlfriend or is it supposed to be assumed at some point?

or:Trust me, as I am on a similar journey. Us men will not say that somebody is our girlfriend in front of somebody else, unless we have both agreed to a committed relationship. I say you give him a while, and you'll start to see just how good he can be.Good luck ;)
