if illuminati is bad, why do so many people join? what do they do? do they literally sell their souls? how do they join, and / or who makes them / ask

I don't understand why celebs make it so obvious with signs and symbols. If it's bad why hasn't anyone done anything? is it actually bad, and do they actually worship the devil? do celebrities do it intentionally, or to managers and producers put all those symbols in videos? what do they get from those symbols, and how does it help them? i know they brain wash us, but even after watching many videos of Jay-Z, Rihanna & others, i don't agree with the illuminati and it makes me hate on it even more, so how does this brainwash thing work, if it makes us realize how bad the illuminati actually is? somebody please cover this info for me, i've been looking for answers everywhere.
