If my contract for my rented room has expired am I entitled to my deposit immediately?

or:if you have a contract on a room and now its expired and you know longer want to stay then you need to go to the person who contracted you then they can tell you have to leave the room except for basic living wear he needs to go through it with you then you would have to go on a month to month bases then once the person goes thru a walk through then arrangements should be to get your deposit back to you if it goes thru the walk thru talk about the deposit
