or:First, God is a spirit. The human ear would not be able to tolerate God's actual voice.To \u2018hear the voice of God\u2019 does not necessarily mean the hearing of a literal, audible voice. It more often means recognizing and hearing with obedience what God has caused to be written in his Word and transmitted through his earthly servants who represent him. (1Jo 2:3,\u00a04) Thus, \u201cvoice\u201d is used as applying to \u201cevery utterance coming forth through Jehovah\u2019s mouth,\u201d his commands whether presented to the individual verbally by God himself or by angels or men, or in inspired writing.\u2014Ps 103:20; Mt 4:4; Every time we read God\u2019s Word, we hear, as it were, the voice of our Great Shepherd, Jehovah. (Psalm 23:1) Hence, the more we study the Bible, the more familiar we become with God\u2019s voice.

Let's see from the Bible how God wants us to communicate with him. ...:1) James 4:8 he says, \"Draw close to me and I will draw close to you.\" So how can you draw close to God?2) Pslm 65:2, \"O hearer of pray, to you people of all sorts will come.\" God's word the Bible tells us God is the hearer of prayer. This tells us that God wants us to pray to him and what\"s great is that he hears us 3) Hebrews 4:12 says, \" God's word is alive.\" That's telling us that the Bible speaks to us .God speaks to through his word the Bible.So to recap. God wants us to get close to him and even though he is a spirit he gives us the tools we need to communicate with him. We can communicate with God by praying to him, reading his word the Bibl and even just talking to him. When we do these things God listens to us.
or:Just because we are living in a world full of noise, we cannot blame God for not communicating with us. God is constantly communicating with us. He lives in our Soul, in the depth of our heart. But unfortunately, because we are so enamored by the world, we are lost in the noise of the world, we are not able to hear God's voice. God is constantly communicating, God is in fact nothing but our Soul, our energy, our life, our heartbeat. But we are unable to recognize God to realize that it is God that is alive within us, we are that God energy, not the body and mind that we appear to be. When we realize this truth, we will find God communicating with us all the time.
