Heres the thing, she's been my friend for 5 years, and for this whole time, I can.say in the back of my head, Ive loved her. I cant stop thinking about her, shes beautiful, shes strong, she has an incredible motherly instinct, she's around all the time, when she comes over she stays for days at a time si that she can hang out with me and all of my friends, Ive told her twice that I love her, and she didnt really respond, I love her so much, and I want her to love me... Please, I need help.

or:It sounds like she thinks of you as a dear friend and gets a little uncomfortable when you express more. I wouldn't push the issue. You risk possibly losing your best friend. She knows how you feel. If she ever feels the same, she knows she can tell you.
