I had an interview on Monday and they called my current employer (I gave them permission). I found out on Tuesday that another coworker of mine gave her two week notice on Monday. Well after my interview on Monday, they called my current employer and now my boss is mad and won’t return the interviewers call. Can I not get this job because she won’t call them back? I did awesome in the interview and they expressed to one of my references how excited they were to have me. I’ll be so upset if I don’t get this great job because of my current boss.
