Is a series or a single book better?

or:Dividing a book into different parts and making it into a series is probably better, because if you leave one on a cliffhanger, more people will want to read the next book. In addition, since the plot is more spread out, you can add more detail into each book. Maybe write a trilogy? :) Good luck!
or:It depends on whether anybody wants to read your work. One flop is not as bad as a series of flops. Write the first volume and if it sells then you can write a sequel and turn it into a series.
