My doctor's billing service sends out payments only occasionally. I paid the last bill, in full and on time, leaving a zero balance. I received a call from the service four months later, complaining that I hadn't made any further payments. On what? I don't have any bills from you. "Oh, we don't send monthly statements."
I insisted they send me a bill, and when received it stated "you must make a monthly payment."
I have never missed a payment in the 19 years I've been with this doctor, but his most recent billing service is horrendous! HELP!!!!!

or:My suggestion would change your doctor and if you have any written records of the bill payment then your matter will be easily resolved. And if not then you have to take some help from a lawyer.
