Is it ok for a christian to wear a cold shoulder top?

Im pretty sure thats what its called. If its not Im talking about the shirt that shows your shoulders. I wore one today and my mom flipped out, saying

I wore one today and my mom flipped out, saying I was "trying to show off my body" and that I was "half naked". This obviously Left me hurt and beyond angry, as both of us well know I'm not the type that loves to show off my body, and I was no where near as a FOURTH naked. So what do you think? Is my mum right in saying wearing cold shoulders are rude, disrespectful, and not to be weared? Or nah? If so tell me how to tell her this in a way that won't make her go crazy. I don't think she'd be very happy knowing I consulted the Web for this (I know its weird but she's more protective than she should be).

or:well i know i have seen the tops before myself what i have wondered what would one feel if the shirt fell down what would happen not something positive thats for sure but embarristment thou if it happened with alot of people to be around mom is old fashioned so thats why she is having the thoughts she is having she figures if she doesn't wear it then why the daughter would want to put herself on display
