Is it okay to fight a 20km/hour over speed limit ticket yourself in toronto?

I got pulled over for going 82 km/hour in a 60 zone on lakeshore downtown Toronto. I know I am wrong for not watching my speed but I really do not

I got pulled over for going 82 km/hour in a 60 zone on lakeshore downtown Toronto. I know I am wrong for not watching my speed but I really do not want to have massive increases on my insurance. I know paralegals are quite good in helping out but I've had a lot of them charging between 250-300 and I'm a little short for cash as of right now. Would it be a good idea to just fight it myself? or try to at least?
