My mom got divorced from my dad when I was 18. She was single for 4 years. She had low self esteem and was sad so when her mood finally changed and was happy and excited about life so was I. Later I found out that this new "spring in her step" was because she started dating this guy. Ever since then things have been odd. The dudes story doesn't make sense. He moved into my moms house, he doesn't have a job, he says he has property in Memphis. But when my fiance, who is from Memphis, probed into this claim he just said. "oh, you know the bad part." my moms behavior is changed and she is always running out of money, accounts being over withdrawn, checks bouncing.
I think my moms boyfriend is stealing her money or he is on drugs!
Am I just crazy?

or:His actions do seem suspicious. You may want to speak to your mom in privet if you haven't already and voice your concerns.Or if you are feeling really ambitious you could confront the boyfriend but I don't really recommend it. At the end of the day that's all you can do. She is the only one who can make a change however.
