Is Shrew Soft VPN client still being developed, or is it dead?

My company recommends Shrew Soft VPN client, but at the same time they also recommend Office XP and Windows Vista, so Im not sure how up-to-date their

My company recommends Shrew Soft VPN client, but at the same time they also recommend Office XP and Windows Vista, so I'm not sure how up-to-date their information is. Since development on Shrew Soft VPN client has stalled around 2013, I'm thinking it's dead, and then I need to find an alternative.
