Is there a pre-activation for android straight talk phones?

When i first turned on my android phone it said to activate it. So it called a number but the call would end saying, " we couldnt activate your phone

When i first turned on my android phone it said to activate it. So it called a number but the call would end saying, " we couldn't activate your phone at this time please try again later." I called straight talk and already set up a phone number for it, but when I try to call someone it doesn't go through.

or:you might have to call the provider that your with to the technical department and have them look at the phone and activate it on the store where you bought it or you might be a glitch somewhere in the programing i would take it back where you got it and let them activate it
