or:not exactly...they are called finals in the championships its not like in the pros where the champion is the champion as long as long as he succesfully defends his title..the championships happen every year (at least the nationals) most championships are about 4 fights to become the champion and even if you are last years champion you still have to go through all of them to become champion of this as well
