Is this real love?

So i have been bestfriends with this guy since kinderstart, he always helped me through everything and we had play dates all the time. So 8 months ago

So i have been bestfriends with this guy since kinderstart, he always helped me through everything and we had play dates all the time. So 8 months ago we realized that we really liked eachother but he was tangled up with this girl that was both of our bestfriends. So one day he told her he was done with her because he liked somebody else and the next day he asked me out, and of course i said yes. So that girl turned on both of us and we havent talked to her since. He treats me amazing, when im sad he makes me smile and asks me whats wrong, and when i cry he wipes my tears away and kisses my eyelids and my lips and holds me tight until i feel like talking to him. Whenever he kisses me he looks into my eyes and says "i love you beautiful". We have lost so many friends because of this relationship but i wouldnt change the past 5 months, we learned who our real friends are! He always fools around and says "fight me bro" and we play fight and he never lets me win, he picks me up and spins me around and throws me on the couch, then he will move in slowly and look into my eyes, move my hair away from my face and kiss me, slowly<3 whenever we are together we never wanna say goodbye, that last kiss kills us, so many songs connect to our relationship. When we fight all i wanna do is go to him so he can cuddle me and make me feel better, i love him with all my heart, i would do anything to keep us together, his mom even told us that she can see us being that couple that stays together during highschool and gets married<3 is this true love? Is this worth fighting for?
