Latin for "To wish on a star means death."?

Making a tome for my D&D campaign with a comet on the front and the text "To wish on a star..." then a crater on the back that reads "...means death."

Making a tome for my D&D campaign with a comet on the front and the text "To wish on a star..." then a crater on the back that reads "...means death." Is there a translation for this in Latin? I came up with "velle in stell in mortis" on a translator earlier but I suspect it is completely wrong. It doesn't have to mean that directly either. I would just like to capture the idea that the consequences of making a wish are deadly.
