Legilimency/Occulency vs Metamorphmagus?

Im a shameless Harry Potter fan and Ive created a character who I would like to be either an extremely skilled legilimen/occulmen or a metamorphmagus.

I'm a shameless Harry Potter fan and I've created a character who I would like to be either an extremely skilled legilimen/occulmen or a metamorphmagus. I can't decide which one I want because I want my character to be able to speak to magical creatures too but I have scenarios where my character can disguise herself as another hogwarts student. Would it be too 'Mary-Sue ish' to give my character both abilities instead of choosing just one?

or:Well, I think that giving your character both qualities as a student may be a bit unbelievable. However, I do think you should note that neither ability allows a person to speak to magical creatures. I do think it would be more plausible for a student to be a metamorphmagus because becoming a skilled occulmen would take incredible training and time. Good luck on your writing!!
