Lip Piercing help please!?

Okay so in May i got the left side of my lip pierced and it hurts on and off sometimes and its not a bad pain, but 3 days ago it started hurting reall

Okay so in May i got the left side of my lip pierced and it hurts on and off sometimes and its not a bad pain, but 3 days ago it started hurting really bad and if I hit it sometimes it will hurt really bad and go numb. My mom says it sounds like it hit a nerve, but I don't think so. I have the right said of my lip pierced too and it has never hurt so its a bit unusal I guess. Opinions?

or:Its possible that it might be infected and it probably hit a nerve when it was done you should have it looked at but you can try hydrogen peroxide. It also could have been the object you got it periced with that may be causing this problem now.
