So I've been living in my car for a month now and I'm curious if the way I'm going about doing so is technically legal. I have been parking in a 24 hr fitness parking lot after work and I have a membership and use their equipment and showers, etc.. And then I sleep in my car after my workout. In the morning I go back inside brush my hair and get ready for work and then I head to work for my 8-5 shift parking my car at my work parking lot for the day and then I return to the 24 hour fitness again when I get off. I know there is a law about not parking in one spot for 72 hours in public parking lots but I'm curious if this is a legal way to "jump through the hoops" I was woken up by a police officer last night but he just checked my ID and asked if I was okay and let me stay.

or:I would say your good there. Does being a member allow you to go to any L.A. FITNESS ? If so, then alternate from one to another so the employees dont notice you there everyday. Stay only at the ones in good neiborhoods though.Good thinking.
