I recently noticed that my engagement ring was not in my jewelry box. I don't wear it daily as I often have swollen joints. I can't pinpoint the last time I saw it. It may have fallen off, or dropped somewhere, or it was taken. It may have gone missing over a month ago - not sure. At this point I've given up on finding it. I asked my cleaners and sitters if they've seen it. No one has. Now the nagging question is should I replace all employees who have access to my house just in case it was taken? Seems extreme, but what if I'm still employing someone who took it?

or:Install cameras and see if something else disappears. If you let everyone go you never know who you are going to get next time. The ring may have just fallen off somewhere and rolled underneath/behind something- bed, dresser, flowerpot, rug.... or maybe inside your bag or in the car?
