My macbook pro has ads and **** and I want to reset my macbook to get rid of the ads but when I shut my laptop than turn it on while holding down the option button as well it doesn't come up with the recovery drive thing. How do I reset it if it won't come up with the recovery option???? Or even if you know how to remove ads that would be awesome!!!

or:I have no idea how to help you because everyone knows apple macs do not get viruses or malware or infections of any kind.... so advising you to get an antivirus program or an antimalware program and using it would be a waste of time.
