Marry cousin or not to?

At the age of 9, 11, 13, 18 I was told by mom that I will be marrying my cousin. I have always dismissed the idea because it is too early yet for me to say.
However she is now been at our house for a couple of months and I have just been thinking about the talks with my mum. I look at her and think she is perfect; Cute, beautiful, hard working, not the show off type, fairly educated; The One. But I am not sure if I should go ahead with the potential marriage
I am going to Uni next year and I may meet someone there who knows....
I'm 18 she's 16 so it's nicely balanced but I fear what I have read on the internet about genetic disorders etc by marrying cousins
She doesn't know yet but everyone else does, I just treat her like my cousin ignoring the facts I have been told
I just need some advice from someone because I am in a dilemma
Shall I say yes or no, I fear if I say yes I might meet someone after because it is way to early. I've talked to my dad and my brother about this and they think my cousin will be perfect for me but say it's your choice

I am so confused. I mean I really like her but I don't want to break her heart and I might change in the future, who knows?

or:You don't marry your cousin, that is incest and is illegal. Also no one has the right to force you into marrying anyone and most especially into marrying your cousin..that's just sick. 99.999% of people, if you told them you were marrying your cousin would be utterly repulsed by the idea and hold you in very low regard.
