... mom My mom yells at me In public and I'm a very imaginative girl so I always ignore her when I'm in my imagination. Also, when I accidentally make a mess on the floor my mom always blames me. I have a little brother and whenever he does something wrong he blames it on me and my mom gets mad. Every week my mom grounds me so I get very annoyed because she grounds me for no reason! I've been trying to talk to friends about it but their always like "it's ur fault anyways so don't blame ur mom" so I get frustrated! Please help me! Sincerely: misunderstood girl

or:Aw :( I have similar issues with my dad too (I'm a guy). Here's the good news, it is almost certainly just I phase and if you search it up it is actually pretty common among girls your age (I'm assuming high-middle school). Take your mom outside and go shopping with her or do any other thing that involves you two getting along with each other. I find it is best not to argue back... I hope I helped!:)

or:Your friends state it is your fault and they probably know more about the situation so I strongly recommend listening to any advice they have. If I were you I would attempt to have a civilised conversation with mom and discuss some of the things that you would want to be changed, some things she wants to be changed and organise a compromise. Maybe it would be a good idea to ignore her the least possible. There's nothing you can do about her blaming you for the mistakes you make and your sibling blaming you for their mistakes. If your mum can't see that you didn't do anything wrong it's her loss. Maybe you would like to discuss things with other siblings you have or other family members. It's unlikely that your mom grounds you for no reason so when this happens, think about what you did to cause the situation. Tolerance and forgiveness are paths you want to take on your journey. I hope this helps and you further develop a better relationship with your mother.

or:I know it sucks for now but then sometimes parents lash out on their children just to take out their anger on something else. It might sound unfair but it's because they are really just so stressed about work, family issues and etc... try to understand what your mom is stressed about. Cheer her up as well. If she seems to be in a bad mood, try to lighten it up by asking her how her day went and if she wants to watch a movie with you. Those small gestures will definitely go a long way.
