There are positions below me, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be all that bad to ask. Because their salary will raise no questions asked. I was hoping my supervisor would bring up the topic at our monthly meeting, but since she didn't I'm not sure how to go about it.

Money is never a fun topic to bring up. Especially asking for more of it. Advice on how to go about this is appreciated.

or:What's minimum wage right now?I would see what she is giving a raise anyway it sounds like there's a cut in pay going on I would ask no risk in asking.

or:Since, you get paid the direct amount of minimum wage. You have should bring on the side bar one day and mention it to her. Tell her that getting paid minimum wage will not benefit you in the future or right now. Ask her for the permanent promotion gently don't just blurt it out because then 8 out of 10 you won't get the promotion. Just do promotion worthy things and then when you think the time is right ask her for it. Or you can just get a lawyer and maybe sue her or the company.
