I went out to check on the puppies my lab fvffhad 5 weeks ago to find that she had eaten one. It wasnt the runt and I figured if there was something wrong with it she would have already done something. Was this an act of aggression? She is aggressive towards people and dogs she doesnt know, as well I have seen her growl at the puppies for trying to feed while she was eating. Should I separate them? They are eating puppy food and get around fine.

or:YES............separate them if they are not suckling anymore to present anymore deaths. Also, call your vet and tell them what happened. Maybe they can advise you further.
