Moving out at 17 to different state?

Im in need of some answers as far as moving out. I'm 17 and I live in Texas, I'm out of school and currently looking for a job but I want to move to California with my adult boyfriend. We have all the money we need to get started out there his family has a house there he is going to rent from them. I guess what I'm asking is if I go and my dad doesn't want me too and I go anyways can he get me back home if he really wanted me to. He let me move out at 15 and I was fine....please help I don't want trouble for the either of us. Although my father is aware of his age and is fine with it.

or:Legally, he's still responsible for you until your 18. He could make you stay by court if he had to. I say talk to him first. It's your future and life. Move to another state to find your dreams, but moving in with your boyfriend at only 17, it's very young. You have so many years ahead of you before you need to move in with any boy. In my opinion, I'd wait and see if the relationship will last and if you two are really serious in this relationship. Maybe move a town over, just to get started in the work force and living on your own. If you ever have trouble, your dad will at least be closer to you.Just my opinions. But legally, he can stop you at 17.
or:17 is legal, but im 15 and almost 16, I wanted to move out because of my stepdad. He always abusing me and harassing me. He doesn't really harassing on my 13 yr old brother. I am from Massachusetts, I want to move out and live with my buddy because he wants me to hang out with him but I want to so bad, but I can't because if my stepdad, I can't hangout with anyone. my friend is 17 and he can drive, so I might be fine. He and his mom is asian and im asian also, so its fine with me and its fine with him, his dad is cool, so I can live with my friend. All I can remember is this, abusing me with the hand saw, dunk my head in the water, hit me with the stick in the leg ate age 13 when he was drunk and I don't know id he remembered it, and having s*x with my mom. I needed to move on and hang out with my buddy, I can sit here and being bored, I needed fun. Life sucks for me for the past 3 years. I have more money and im fine.
