I think my 45lb 5month old English bulldog swallowed an 1 1/2 to 2" piece of bully stick. since then he's been super lethargic and won't eat. he's able to drink water and had a soft pooh. his stomach doesn't seem to be in discomfort since he's been laying on it but he does shake sometimes when he breathes. I'm planning on watching his closely over night and if he won't eat and still seems off in the morning I'll take him to the vet. would this be the right plan of action? I've been reading online that they're digestible. he ate it about 5hrs ago.

or:puppys are always chewing things all the time and swallowing them may have a altering effect and they try entertaining them selfs but if he isn't better i would take him to the vet and have him looked at hopefully he gets rid of it hope it works out
